MEET LYNDSEY
“Building brighter futures and communities together.”
I have deep roots in Roswell dating back to the 90s when I attended Mimosa Elementary and Crabapple Middle School, before moving to Alpharetta off Old Alabama near Country Club of Roswell. Being that close to Roswell allowed me to visit friends and shop here regularly.
In 2013, with intention, my husband Chris and I made the decision to move to Roswell and raise our two sons here. In 2015, Fulton County Schools started a redistricting process for a new school they built off Alpharetta Hwy called Vickery Mill Elementary. I went to each meeting and paid attention to the process knowing that my son would start there as a kindergartener the year it opened.
When the school opened in 2016, I joined the PTA’s executive committee. The following year I became PTA President and remained in the role for three years. Building out a brand new PTA to support a Title 1 school wasn’t easy, but we did it and I’m extremely proud of what we were able to accomplish.
Since then our family moved on to our second home in Roswell and I couldn’t love this community more. I’ve served in several leadership roles at various organizations throughout the community, and recently ran for City Council trying to make an impact and difference.
Having lived in Roswell as a kid and now as an adult raising a family, I bring a unique perspective to the table. My servant-leadership, problem-solving skills, and passion for serving the community in multiple school districts throughout Fulton County Schools District 1, will be invaluable assets as I help make decisions regarding our children’s education.
